Flow was not designed for the trades from the outside. It was built inside Eastland Plumbing & Gas, a working plumbing and gas business in Gisborne, and it runs that business every day — quotes, jobs, site visits, invoices, the lot.
That business is ours, and we say so
Eastland Plumbing & Gas is not a customer reference. It is the founders’ own business, which makes it the strongest thing we can show you and also the thing most easily dressed up into something it isn’t.
So, plainly: every feature on this site has been used on a real job, by people who lose real money when it gets in the way. When a quote takes too long, someone in our own business pays for it that evening. That is the entire quality mechanism, and it is worth more than a roadmap.
How it is made
Three decisions shape the product more than any feature does.
Your data stays yours
Your business data stays isolated and access-controlled. Your work is not something another business can reach, and who sees what inside your own team is set by role. It is also a real constraint on how fast we can sign people up.
Small enough to answer you
A small team, shipping directly. When a founding client says a screen is wrong for how their trade works, changing it is a conversation and a release, not a place in a roadmap behind four hundred other businesses.

This audience talks to each other. An unsupportable claim costs more than the sale it buys, so here is the list of things we could have put on here and didn’t.
No testimonials
We have founding clients going live, not a wall of quotes. When they are ready to speak for themselves, it will be their words with their name on it.
No customer count
A number that flatters us today would be a number we would have to keep flattering.
No hours-saved figure
We have our own modelling for what the admin costs a business. It is modelling, it is being verified, and it is not a result until it is measured.
No uptime badge or certification
Not earned yet. A page that invents them tells you exactly how the software will behave.
Where a product screenshot hasn’t been taken yet, this site shows an empty frame that says so, rather than a drawing of a screen that doesn’t exist. Same rule, applied to pictures.
Come and pull it apart
Twenty minutes, one of your own jobs, taken from enquiry to invoice. Ask the awkward questions — what it can’t do is a shorter conversation than you would expect, and you’ll get it straight.
